CONVENIENT AND NUTRITIOUS BITE SIZE FRUIT
The kiwiberry (Actinidia arguta) is a species of kiwifruit that produces convenient and nutritious bite sized fruit with edible skins and an appealing sweet, aromatic flavour. It is a relative of the common green kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa) and gold kiwifruit (Actinidia chinensis) that occurs naturally in Siberia, eastern Russia, Korea, Japan, and throughout much of China. One of the main advantages of the kiwiberry is its tolerance to cold winter temperatures up to at least -25°C, which makes that it can thrive in temperate climates.
IT CAN THRIVE IN TEMPERATE CLIMATES
Compared to the common green kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa), kiwiberries are sweeter, more flavourful and more nutrient dense. They are a healthy source of minerals, fibre, antioxidants and vitamin C.
